The MLS published their annual salary information on September 15th and it turns out former AC Milan Midfielder Kaka is earning the most for the 2015 season at $6.66 million dollars.

The Brazilian legend edges out other European superstars in terms of base salary such as Steven Gerrard ($6.2 Million through the LA Galaxy) and Frank Lampard ($6 million through New York City FC). Other aging European stars such as David Villa, Andre Pirlo, and Didier Drogba are earning signicantly less, respectively: $5.6 million, $2 million, and $1.6 million.
Thus far in 2015 the 33 year-old Kaka has played in 26 games, netted 10 goals, contributed on 5 assists, and taken 52 shots.
Not a bad salary for doing what he does best.
