The FA apparently hasn’t finished with Jose Mourinho. The Chelsea manager hasn’t been able to stay out of hot water all season.
From week 1 through week 8 the ‘Special One’ has done everything in his power to antagonize his staff, players, officials, rival managers, and the media.
He said earlier this year that if his time ends at Chelsea he’d love to coach at Arsenal, fueling the long running feud between himself and Arsene Wenger.
But the FA thought that Mourinho’s comments after the Southampton match were a clear violation of the rules. During his press conference Mourinho made the claim that the referees were “afraid to give calls to Chelsea”.

The FA has decided that Mourniho’s comment constitutes discrediting the refereeing staff and that,
“It was alleged his remarks brought the game into disrepute.”
Mourinho will be fined 50,000 pounds as well as receive a one-match stadium ban,
“…Should he be found by an Independent Regulatory Commission to have committed a further breach of FA Rule E3 for any comment or statement to or through the media before 13 October 2016. “
