Cristiano Ronaldo is always one to watch during the El Clasico match-up.
He’s scored a goal in his last three match-ups against Baracelona and has netted 15 times total against the fellow Spanish club.
Ronaldo was relieved on international duty earlier in the week when Portugal traveled to Russia for a friendly match-up. He used the day to promote the film Ronaldo in London before heading back to the club’s Valdebebas training ground to work out.
While there is no certainty that Messi will play and it has been forecasted that the Argentinian won’t, fans are still unwilling to believe that Ronaldo’s rival won’t make an appearance.
Despite struggles with manager Rafa Benitez, Ronaldo is likely hoping to make an impact on the Balon d’Or voting with a superb performance during this first Clasico match-up of the season.
Bet on Ronaldo getting a shot into the back of the net. We’ll have to see on Saturday if one or even two goals will be enough for los blancos to come away with a victory.
