Today marks the press-release date of the newest colorway for the Adidas Ace 17+ PureControl. We’ll be stocking them for shipment on www.soccercorner.com, but we wanted to give you a first look before their ship date of January 26th.
The new colorway features a mixture of black, white, blue, and a magenta accent that goes really well with the laceless style and shape of the cleat. Featuring a PURECUT Boost interior lining for a sleek compression fit that’s snug, and responsive cushioning that adapts to your every step, cut, and plant. The primeknit upper is ultra-light and adaptable providing you with the touch you need to put your best foot behind your shots.
Cut slightly differently than its predecessor the Ace 16+ PureControl, the Ace 17+ PureControl cuts back on the amount of the sock-like material that extends into the forefoot. Shortening it helps provide a more locked-down fit and consistent touch on the ball.
You can see in the above side by side how much the sock-like upper has been cut back. Before it extended nearly to the forefoot while now it stops right about on top of the natural arch of the foot. This means more of the upper is made of Adidas patented Non-Stop Grip technology to help you maintain your touch no matter the weather conditions.
At this point in time the Adidas Ace 17+ PureControl cleats represent some of the most advanced cleats on the market today, not only from Adidas, but any manufacturer. Played in by athletes from highschool to the highest levels of the professionals, we expect these to be fan favorites.
